Youth Intervention and Development (Y.I.D.) is an OASAS licensed Youth Prevention Program that uses evidenced based practice and structured activities to assist children and adolescents in becoming assets to their communities, rather than liabilities. Y.I.D. offers both positive and constructive activities such as: Alcohol and Drug education, prevention and intervention services, individual, group, and family counseling, homework assistance and supportive services, community services, a GED program for youth 17-20 (sponsored by the Department of Education), computer literacy, parenting groups, cultural awareness, arts/crafts, performing arts(praise dancing and Hip Hop), and recreation.
